In a recent Telugu award function Karthi has reportedly said that Telugu audiences are generous in their appreciation and also they come to the theatres to watch films. But this comment has angered Kollywood and the video clip has gone viral in the Internet too and spread like wildfire.
But Karthi has cleared the air by saying that the comment were made to express his gratitude towards the Telugu audiences for their support, that’s all.
Karthi is currently busy with his political thriller film Saguni.
