Vidya Balan’s The Dirty Picture which
was released in Telugu and Tamil along with original Hindi version has
proved to be a big hit at the box office. It has collected close to Rs.
65 crore nett in just ten days, that too only in India.
The Dirty Picture collected 11 crore nett in its second weekend at Indian box office. This proves that the film hasn’t lost the steam and is likely to rake in few more crores before the business comes to an end.
As per early estimates The Dirty Picture is likely to join the 100 crore club and if it does, it would be a phenomenal feat for a film which has no big star to boast of. With the inspiration of TDP, many more Dirty Pictures are in pipeline, says the buzz.
